Alison received her Bachelors Degree in Communication with a
specialization in Human Resource Management from The University
of Kansas. She has two Masters Degrees: Master in Public Administration
from the University of Kansas and a Master in Counseling Psychology
from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Alison began her career counseling at a non-profit agency in
Massachusetts working primarily with individuals with the dual
diagnosis of bi-polar disorder and substance abuse. Her clients
presented with a variety of symptoms including depression, anxiety,
anger and relationship conflicts. Most recently, Alison has become
a Life Coach, completing her Life Coaching Certification through
the Institute of Empowerment Coaching. She works with individuals
as they transition through the divorce process. Alison provides
a variety of services including pre-divorce preparation, advocacy
and recovery - discovering new solutions and options for a better
future. Additionally, depending upon the geographic location,
Alison provides relationship transition workshops and support
groups. Alison also collaborates with a variety of other professionals
for expanded services. i.e. financial planners, attorneys, mediators,
real estate agents and image consultants.
Alison is a member of the International Coaching Federation,
Institute of Professional Empowerment Coaching and American Psychological
Association.
